Horns

Horns are one of the most obvious visual clues that something is not quite human in Neverness to Everness. They stand out immediately against Hethereau's modern skyline, whether from anomaly exposure or from some intrinsic Esper characteristic. What makes them interesting is how they are woven into everyday clothes. Characters don't hide them. Instead, they style around them, pairing horns with streetwear, tech accessories, or even clean minimalist outfits. It feels grounded and weird at the same time which fits the tone of the city perfectly.

The community loves horns, because they instantly give a character some edge and identity. The horned wallpapers are often more impressive, especially with the neon outlining their shape at night. Horns offer artists an opportunity to experiment with silhouette, material and lighting, from matte textures to glossy or even glowing surfaces. They also wonder how accessories such as hats or headphones are designed around them. Horns are not a fantasy element in NTE. They are part of the city’s visual vocabulary.
